Logo ideas:
Learningisfun@yourlibrary ®
Jointhefun@yourlibrary ®
Workingtogether@yourlibrary ®
  • I like this because it emphasizes collaboration, what this course and our job as a librarian is all about.
  • I agree that this one emphasizes collaboration. The logo could maybe be 2 hands together or 2 hands holding a book.
LovetoLearn@yourlibrary ®
KnowledgeisKey@yourlibrary ®
  • I totally see this being a cute key-shaped bookmark! I like it.
  • I also really like this one!
Read2Succeed@your library ®
Read4theFuture@yourlibrary ®

What do you think of this wordle for the slogan?

I like it!
Looks good to me!

Marketing tool ideas:
book marks for students
collaboration calendars for teachers with suggestions of what to do during the year
Prezi
Animoto or movie with Windows Movie Maker
Flyer or Glogster
collaboration wiki for teachers to collaborate with the librarian
  • Great idea! We have one at my school that my librarian (I asked her if I could share) just started. I am going to link to the flex week page (we operate on fixed/flex shedule).
http://mccall-library.wikispaces.com/FLEX+WEEK The voki is just too cute on this page! We could do a voki with a cute saying that is related to the slogan.
I also really like the wiki idea. I like how the wiki at your school allows teachers to easily sign up for a time to go to the library. It's much more convenient and time efficient than emailing the librarian, asking if a certain time spot is available, only to find out that it isn't and then you have to reschedule.... I also really like the voki. It was really cute.

Partner strengths:
Emily- Voki, Prezi, Glogster (I know how to use it,but I'm not extremely creative). My teacher perspective is all in upper grade levels (currently 4th grade)
Cindy - Animoto, PowerPoint (I have made powerpoints with voice recordings added to them). I have only taught Pre-K.
Jenny - Windows Movie Maker, Glogster (more creative than practical), some sound editing (My sister does this for a living, and she has taught me a little.)
I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Most of my experience has been in 2nd and 4th.
